Google Wave

Google has announced to launch it’s new service named as Google Wave.

Google Wave is a real time Communication Channel and a protocol based on hosted XML document called Wave. In layman language we can say that Google Wave can be used as an Ajax spread sheet over XMPP.

According to Google,

Google Wave is a platform that enables people to work and communicate together in more convenient ways. We will offer these benefits to users of Google Wave and we also wish share them with everyone else by making wave an open platform, that anybody can share. We welcome others to run wave servers and become wave providers, for themselves or as services for their users, and to “federate” waves, that is, to share waves with each other and with Google Wave. In this way users from different wave providers can communicate and collaborate using shared waves. We are introducing the Google Wave Federation Protocol for federating waves between wave providers on the Internet.

Let’s have a look at Google Wave, which will be launch later this year.

Google Wave

Google will rock the world (atleast on the Internet), every year Google comes out with new surprises. I think Google is just an OS ( Operating System ) away from leading the planet.
